This product serves to unite cladding materials such as wood, drywall, metal, mirrors, glass, plastic, rubber, skirting boards, shutters, thresholds, window sills, boundary stakes, pillars, junction boxes, synthetic materials, ornamental stoneware, and ceramic tiles onto concrete, brick, plaster, walls, and coarse cardboard.
How To Use
1. Ensure that surfaces are devoid of substances like oil, grease, and dust, which might hinder effective bonding. Remove any accumulated water from damp timber surfaces.
2. Prepare the cartridge by cutting the tip, attaching the nozzle, and cutting it to achieve the desired opening width (around 5mm).
3. Apply a bead of adhesive along the length of the joist, stud, or batten. On broad and flat surfaces, employ the "Z" or "M" application method (the quantity used depends on the substrate area, using approximately 0.6 square meters per 300ml).
4. Position the pieces to be bonded and press them firmly together, ensuring no gaps remain. Secure with nails, screws, or clamps to hold the load and achieve contact over the entire bonding area. Repositioning is possible for up to 20 minutes after fitting.
5. Allow the adhesive to set (a minimum of 72 hours**) before removing temporary fasteners or clamps. In high-stress applications, use mechanical fasteners alongside the adhesive.
Application Techniques
For an instant bond, use the contact bond method. Apply the adhesive to one surface only, press the surfaces together, and then separate them. Allow the surfaces to dry for 2-5 minutes before firmly joining them.
Flooring
When installing flooring, adhere to the manufacturer's installation requirements. To eliminate squeaks in tongue and groove flooring, apply a bead of the nail-free adhesive, specifically the Heavy Duty variant, into the groove of each board during installation.
Cleanup
To remove uncured product, utilize mineral turpentine. For cured product, removal can be achieved through scraping or sanding.
Constraints
• Unsuitable for metals exposed to direct sunlight, as bonds may weaken at higher temperatures.
• Not suitable for Styrene Foam.
• Not to be solely relied upon for structural bonding.
• Incompatible with permanent water immersion.
Additional Notes
• Avoid swallowing. Use this product in well-ventilated areas. Prevent contact with skin and eyes.
• Prior to usage, perform a compatibility test to ensure effective bonding.
• For heavier materials both indoors and outdoors, consider employing supplementary fixing methods. (Tip: Combining nail-free adhesive with silicone glue and nails can extend usage time.)
• Nail-free adhesive is exclusively designed for bonding purposes and should not be used for sealing.
